About Us

Kevin Marinelli –

I am a constantly quizzical person, always exploring and testing new ideas in art and technology. I have experience in digital electronics, Arduino, laser engraving, 3D printing, CNC routing, computer programming, lighting for puppet theatre, and other methods of making things.

My first “maker” project was when I was 3 years old and learned about the screw. In high school, I made a lot of things to occupy my mind and hands, including a catapult, and my own skate board from a board and pair of aluminum roller skate wheels. I also started my love of electronics while in high school, thanks to a neighbor who was an electronics instructor at a local vocational school.

Recently, I have rebuilt CO2 lasers, designed and built small CNC routers, designed and assembled my own Arduino software-compatible clones, and designed lighting for a number of puppet theatre stage productions. I have also acquired an Xtool D2 Pro 20W diode laser with extension.
